In 2020, with the onset of the global pandemic, the options for exercise narrowed down as the indoor gyms and studios shut down. Bike sales went up by 75% compared to 2019 as more and more people got back on the saddle to get outdoors and work their muscles.
The U.S. cycling industry overall saw sales reach $1 billion in April, up by 75% year over year, according to market research firm NPD Group. In June, bike sales increased 63% compared to the prior year, with particular strength in high-end offerings, NPD Group reported.
To be able to do all the above mentioned activities, bikers need products and equipment. And this behind the scenes is pretty cumbersome and ugly looking something like in these pictures.

Other than sleek, aerodynamic form, We also took the liberty to design these overmolded silicone grips for ergonomic comfort
Because when it comes to self expression, colors cannot be underestimated. Hence, we want to offer the grips in multiple colors so that the handlebars don't look like an after-thought and instead the riders can choose how to best sync the aesthetics to complete the look of their bikes.
We will use prepreg carbon fiber for the handlebar and injection molded polycarbonate body for the module.
